James Brainard Mayor of Carmel, IN Mayor Brainard has implemented numerous environmental initiatives in Carmel. He encouraged the construction of roundabouts in place of traditional signaled intersections which reduces vehicle emissions. He's signed executive orders mandating the use of hybrid or flex-fuel vehicles for city operations and recently enacted a “No Idling” policy for city employees, among many more initiatives. As Mayor, Anna worked to ensure all citizens’ of Tolleson had an opportunity for a quality education and good paying jobs. She has supported local businesses and sustainable economic development and focused on developing regional partnerships and collaborating with local and state elected officials to advocate for all residents.
