And that, "There’s a place for everybody, like if you’re brand new to this, this isn’t necessarily going to mean you have to rappel down Sydney Harbour Bridge with a banner, if that’s your thing, then there’s a place for you, if that’s not your thing, there really is a place for everybody." "What is the thing that you love to do, that gives you energy, that gives you joy, that keeps you going? There will be a way of turning that energy into this movement." What often overlooked objects or ideas have a larger impact on you than you thought? Plants are more human than we like to think so, and they affect us in numerous capacities. Giavanna (Gia) Figlioli is a senior at South Warren High School. Her interests include collecting vintage records, dabbling in photography, and hanging out with her cats. She is a third year varsity swimmer for the South Warren Swim and Dive Team. Gia enjoys learning about all things science and would like to pursue a college degree and career in science. She plans on eventually pursuing a doctorate in her chosen field. She loves to collect and care for plants, and she is always ready to learn more about her passions and the world around her.
