James Brainard Mayor of Carmel, IN Mayor Brainard has implemented numerous environmental initiatives in Carmel. He encouraged the construction of roundabouts in place of traditional signaled intersections which reduces vehicle emissions. He's signed executive orders mandating the use of hybrid or flex-fuel vehicles for city operations and recently enacted a “No Idling” policy for city employees, among many more initiatives. She has supported local businesses and sustainable economic development and focused on developing regional partnerships and collaborating with local and state elected officials to advocate for all residents. It gives us all food for thought as to how we can learn to live more sustainably using nature's cycles as a model. Sophie Segal is an impact entrepreneur with a focus on customers. Curious and creative at heart, she is a changemaker, innovative thinker and engaging trainer who loves to spark the unexpected in people's minds. She co-founded Co-CREATE ImpACT to help companies engage their employees in sustainability and the circular economy by using play-based learning and immersive game workshops in an innovative and fun way! She also helps companies transitioning to circular business models to design customer experiences that resonate and convert. Sophie also and leads the Circular Economy Club in Reading, UK.
